Safety lock

This motor for submerged pool covers has an integrated permanent holding brake patented by UNICUM. This brake (CONSTANT POSITION SYSTEM) keeps the cover in position even when there is no electrical power. Compared to a conventional electromagnetic brake, this brake uses neither friction pads nor a control system. Indeed, there is no contact between the permanent magnets, so it is impossible for the brake to get stuck. The reliability of the motor is thereby improved.
