Why secure your pool with a rigid cover?

That’s why, since 2004, the French Construction and Housing Code has required all private swimming pools to be fitted with an effective safety device, on pain of a fine of up to €45,000. To be compliant, the cover must “withstand the passage of an adult without causing injury”, which makes a simple bubble cover inadequate. That’s why we recommend using a rigid pool cover, especially for in-ground pools.
