- Attach the retractable anchors on the mobile part
Before installing the bar cover
Before continuing, it’s important to have the necessary tools
and to prepare your pool. Make sure you have the following tools.
Required tools:
- A drill
- A hammer
- An appropriate drill bit
- A set of suitable retractable anchors
The retractable anchors must be suitable for your installation
. Make sure to use wooden anchors if your surface is wood or concrete anchors if the surface is tiled or concrete.
Take the opportunity to clean the edges and the waterline
, as we will leave the cover in place to secure the pool after installation.
Placing the cover on the pool
A bar cover has a specific installation direction
. You will notice at the ends two attachment systems that indicate the front and back
of the bar cover.

Strap with fastening ring (1)

Strap with ratchet (2)
On one of the widths, there are straps with fastening rings (1), this part will be the so-called fixed part, referred to as the back of the cover. On the opposite side, there are straps with ratchets (2). This side will be the part of the cover that you will handle to cover or uncover the pool. Consider it as the front of the cover.
Determine which side of the pool you want to roll up the cover (storage space). Place the straps with fastening rings on this side, then unroll the cover to completely cover the pool.
Once the cover is in place, check its alignment. It is essential that the bars are perpendicular to the edge of the pool before installing the anchors.
Securing the ends
Now that the bar cover is properly positioned on the width and length of the pool, we can proceed with the installation of the retractable anchors.
Installing the fixed anchors
With the straps with fastening rings laid flat, mark the ground and then drill to install the anchors. Drive the anchors into the holes, then attach the bar cover to move on to the next step.
Installing the removable anchors
Standing at the front, pull the cover as much as possible and, with the straps flat, identify the locations for the next holes. Take the drill, make the perforations, then drive in the anchors with a hammer.
Adjustment and tension
Both ends are now secured, adjust the edges of the cover. Properly tension the cover using the ratchets to prevent water pockets from forming and ensure pool safety. Try to apply uniform tension on each strap if possible for balanced resistance.
Your cover is now installed, check the alignment of the bars and that the cover is evenly tensioned.
